Adapting to COVID-19: How Andreal is functioning amidst the global pandemic

The world is going through a difficult time. The global pandemic and the nationwide lockdown has affected millions of people and the institutions they belong to. COVID-19 is being proven to be a threat to not only one’s health but one’s personal and professional lives as well. As the pandemic continues to evolve, it is important for organisations to shift focus to efforts that support a return to work, while addressing the needed changes in the months ahead.

At Andreal, we are completely adhering to the Government rules and regulations and are working from home. As much as we want to get back to our desks and the special office chai, we as responsible citizens are practising social distancing for our own benefits and for those around us. Since two weeks before the lockdown started, we were taking the necessary steps to combat the threat. From making sure everyone used sanitizer every time they entered the office premises to staring the work from home schedule even before the Janta Curfew, we did everything possible to minimize the risks. All our employees are now working from their homes and we have supported them with office desktops and internet connections wherever required.

We are fully functional and are working just the same as we would have done from the office.

Our plan for the difficult days ahead

There is no denying of the fact that the high tide of COVID-19 has hit us and like all other organisations across the globe, we are also struggling to keep our business up and moving. But being a creative agency which expertise in marketing communications, we are taking the best route forward to combat this situation.

We are taking the digital way!

Amidst the major economic impacts of COVID-19, one key benefit that we have in modern society, that hasn't been available in pandemics of the past, is the internet, and increased connectivity, which has enabled many businesses to continue operation despite not being able to open their physical offices and we are one of them.

We are primarily focusing on Digital Marketing at the moment and creating our brand presence through interesting creatives on various social media platforms. This is helping us to reach out to the world better and louder. We are trying to create a positive, responsible and inspirational vibe with the right pinch of humour through our online presence.

Clients are our number one priority

One thing among many others which will always remain constant for us is client prioritization and nothing can change that. We are taking extra care of our clients during this time and making sure that they are happy with our offerings. Additionally, we are trying to analyze what their needs could be after the lockdown and working on plans accordingly. As digital marketing is the only means of marketing now, we are also suggesting our clients to indulge in it as much as they can.

Practising social distancing yet remaining virtually close

Participating in face-to-face meetings and brainstorming sessions at the office has come to a standstill. But that cannot stop us from seeing each other every other day, be it for work or games night. Whenever required, we are video calling and making our ends meet without any hassle.

We are not letting the lockdown take a toll on us and are focusing on how to utilize this time at its fullest.

Many of us are signing up for online courses, be that for design, copywriting, digital marketing or client servicing. Alongside, many training sessions by our bosses are also being carried out. This is giving us a chance to learn many new things which we were unable to do otherwise. Now we have the time to upgrade ourselves and to become more skilled at our work. We are aware that this situation will not last forever and we are preparing ourselves to return back soon by becoming more efficient and responsible.
